Alex Bowling and Richard Medlock have over 20years of experience in providing Medical Acupuncture to their patients. Having undertaken medical training as part of their respective professional degrees in Chiropractic and Osteopathy they both incorporated Medical Acupuncture into their original training. As such, they are able to bring their knowledge and experience in diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of musculoskeletal complaints with an integrated approach to treatment. Often it is a combination of Acupuncture and either Osteopathy, Chiropractic or Massage that has the fastest and most effective results.
Both are registered with the British Medical Acupuncture Society and are part of the South West Acupuncture group

"Alex is a fantastic chiropractor, taking time to put you at ease and to explain treatments fully. I've had acupuncture and a small amount of chiropractic corrections and the difference is incredible. I'm disabled with osteoarthritis and the positive effects of my treatments with Alex are worth every penny. All of the staff here are great, being friendly and professional at the same time."Mark Back Pain
"Richard was very polite, professional and put me at ease. He recommended a course of acupuncture and stretching. Despite being very phobic about needles he reassured me at every stage and helped keep me calm with various breathing techniques. The difference has been incredible, my sporting performance has improved and my general day to day life is a lot less painful."Ian Knee and Shoulder pain

I’ve been a patient for some time now and have always been treated in a most professional manner. Alex always has time to listen to me so that he gives me the most effective treatment. Acupuncture works well for me which reduces the pain and inflammation I experience with my back and neck. I highly recommend Alex to anyone who has muscular-skeletal problems.Ian Back and Neck Pain
"I was treated by Alex who's positive attitude is infectious. He used acupuncture and chiropractic manipulations to treat me, he even found an issue with my gluteus I didn't know existed. I was then given daily stretches to help ease the tension in my neck and left glute. All together a very helpful - eased the issues but educated me as to why they appeared in the first place and how to avoid them in future."George Neck and Back pain
"Alex has worked wonders for my lower back and neck and shoulders with both the chiropractic and acupuncture. Very friendly and relaxed atmosphere too. Can't recommend highly enough."Suzy Neck and Shoulder pain
